Pump Golf
Pump Golf is a national brand covering all junior golf programs being offered at clubs and driving ranges by PGA Professionals and accredited community coaches through Australia. Its main aim is to encourage more juniors to play golf by assisting golf club’s and pro’s promote their facilities and programs via a national branding and marketing campaign.
Pump Golf centres are provided with teaching resources to support their coaching, and are listed on the Pump Golf website under a search function for the public to easily identify centres in their area. There are over 480 facilities listed in the directory.
The Pump Golf program also comprises of a national event, the Pump Golf Shootouts, which are a 9 hole competition run at local golf clubs across the country. Each junior receives a participation gift as part of their entry fee and the winners (net and scratch) go in to the draw to win a trip to the Pump Golf Junior Festival held at Twin Waters during the Australian PGA Championship. The local event season runs from April through to October, with Pump Golf Junior Festival winners being drawn in late October.
The Pump Golf Shootouts focus on keeping golf fun and accessible. They provide juniors of all ability levels the opportunity to participate in a national competition and provide golf clubs and PGA Professionals with an event they can offer as part of their junior program.
