Queensland Academy of Sport Golf Program

The QAS Golf Program is an elite program that is jointly administered and funded by Golf Queensland and the Queensland Academy of Sport.  There are currently 12 athletes in the squad.

The QAS Golf Program, which commenced in July 2001, is primarily a full-time training, practice and tournament play program, which has been designed specifically to further develop golfers who have exhibited the potential to succeed at the elite level.

QAS golf athletes are provided assistance with coaching, access to facilities, equipment, sports medicine and science, fitness training, apparel, and travel to major tournaments. Access to other QAS services, including the Athlete Career Education (ACE) program, is also available.
