Volunteer Resource Centre

Volunteering Qld works to encourage, recognise, promote and advocate for voluntary participation to benefit the individual and community.

Volunteering Qld's Vanessa Codling recently presented at the Queensland Golf Forum on the importance of volunteers for non-profit organisations. She placed a heavy emphasis on the recruitment and retention of volunteers.

The Volunteering Qld website provides many helpful resources for organisations looking at recruiting volunteers. Click here to view Volunteering Qld's Resource Central, which includes information on volunteer management, code of practice, risk management and much more.

Linkki is a free Volunteering Qld initiative designed to help connect organisations with volunteers. Once registered, your organisation will be able to list your organisation profile, list and manage volunteer jobs and receive direct volunteer job applications. Click here to learn more about Linkki and to register.

There are also resources available to view on the Volunteering Qld website for people interested in volunteering. This includes a checklist for volunteers, details on general volunteering, event volunteering and a dedicated sport, fitness and recreation volunteering portal. Click here for more information on volunteering and how to get involved. Linkki is also available for individuals who wish to volunteer. Click here to search for volunteering opportunities and to register with Linkki.
